A few quick notes on the ship. There are 3 levels in total. The rooms are divided into 6 categories: suites, category 1-5 staterooms. Staterooms are all the same size, but window size and what deck you are on differ. Suites (only 4 in total) and cat. 1 rooms are onthe top level, cat 2 and 3 on the 2nd level and cat 4 and 5 are on the lower level. The windows on that level are small, and right at the water level.
There is 1 restaurant capable of searing everyone at once. There is a also a lounge with large windows all around. Fitness centre, massage room and laundry facilities on the lower level.
Swiss style beds again.
I uploaded this while Jennifer was sleeping.
A little sitting space.
Bathroom door on the right. Closet on the left.
The sun deck, where I suffered my shuffleboard defeat.
Another part of the sun deck. The elevated struction with windows is the wheelhouse where the captain drives the ship. It is elevated, but on hydraulic legs so it can lower to pass under low bridges. Apparently there is a really low bridge that we pass under. Everything on the top deck is lowered so that we can make it though. Rumor has it we can be on top when we pass under it, but we`re not allow to stand, we have to sit.

Like the room. Is the BR small? Where's the goodies on the pillows :)
ReplyDeleteNoah starts swimming tonight. Jabril just keeps growing.
The bed is queen size so the room is comfortable (it's a heck of a lot bigger than the hotel room we had in Rome) and the shower is a good size. The treats are put on the pillows while we're at dinner; tonight we had Valrhona chocolates...yum!
