Random Thoughts - Recycling

As I sit in our hotel lobby listening to the Barry White being pumped in, I think about recycling, and the lack of it. I threw out a banana peel earlier in a garbage can. The hotels and the city is very clean. City workers are out early in the morning cleaning streets, collecting garbage etc... However, I notice no recycling receptacles around. I have not seen them on other city streets either. For something as standard everywhere it's weird. Perhaps the Swiss have their garbage separated at a processing facility. That would be smart. Time to go to Bern to see bears.
