Day 2 - The Hard sell and vacation doppelgängers

We woke up this morning feeling refreshed. We lost 2 hours to a vacation membership presentation, and funnily enough did not hand over any dough... It was over breakfast, and when it was done, we received a $400 credit for the spa. We both booked extra long massages for later in the week.

Relaxed on the beach until lunch at the buffet. We tried the swim out pool again (it was really cold yesterday). I made it all the way in this time, but it was still cold. Jennifer only made it 1/3 in; wimp. We decided we needed warm water, so back to the beach for a dip in the ocean.

We relaxed in the lobby of the main building over a drink until dinner. We tried a new drink today, the chillada. Beer and lime juice in a tall glass with a salted rim. Thanks, Shazza for the tip.  Tonight's dinner is at the Seaside Grill, the steak house. Appetizers: tuna and machas ceviche for Jennifer and Chilean beef turnovers for me. Mains are Poor Beef Filet in a red sauce (no, not like American red sauce...) with potato terrine, and Jennifer had lamb medalians with chestnut gnocchi.

Throughout yesterday and today, we have been seeing people that look people we know.  To date, we have seen doppelgängers of Jennifer's mom and dad, our friend Eleanor and our friend Johnny C. Weird. Who knows who we'll see next.

Jen and Jay...we thought of you curling on the ice today while we were crashing the waves, the only ice we have seen recently is the ice in our drinks, he he he.

Resort's drinks of the day...
Coco Mango - coconut cream, mango pulp, pineapple juice
Coco Loco - white rum, vodka, white tequila, gin, coconut cream, lime juice

A view from our beach chairs.

Can you find Jennifer?

Anyone want to get married?

The stars were out early tonight.

Bar side accident scene. Still under investigation from 3 years ago. Apparently, the person was drinking too much. (Inside joke)
