We had our annual adventure with our niece and nephews this week and fun-filled does not begin to describe it!
We arrived on Tuesday and Jabril was absolutely thrilled when his cousin Noah arrived. They raced back and forth across the suite until we had the first incident of the holiday - in the immortal words of Noah to the GWL staffer who brought a replacement cushion for the armchair: "my cousin pooked"! However it was only a momentary setback and he was back running around as soon as he was cleaned up.
We went down to the water park to await Uncle Steve's arrival. The wave pool was fun and Noah ran in with no hesitation (he didn't need a life jacket this year). We went to the Wooly Mammoth slide and only had to wait for one family to go ahead of us, it was a blast. The lazy river was fun and we all enjoyed it.
Thankfully, Noah saw his favourite mascot - Wiley - it was touch and go for a while as to whether Wiley would be the mascot at breakfast on day 2. Meltdown averted.
